Top SchoolKarthikeyan Arumugam is a Full Stack Engineer based in Manchester with eight years of experience building and modernizing web applications across startups and enterprise clients. He currently delivers full stack solutions at AJ Bell and has a strong track record of migrating legacy systems, improving security and performance, and documenting complex codebases at Phlashweb. Karthikeyan led engineering and infrastructure efforts at ZNotes—managing distributed teams, driving a MERN-stack revamp, and migrating cloud hosting between GCP and AWS while implementing CI/CD. Comfortable across Node.js, React, C#/ASP.NET and cloud platforms, he pairs hands-on coding with product-minded design and usability work. He’s particularly interested in cybersecurity and AI, and often tackles undocumented legacy systems to make them maintainable and secure. His background in leading distributed teams and moderating large student communities hints at strong communication and stakeholder management beyond pure engineering.
