Top SchoolKartikye Mittal is a CTO and co-founder with 12 years of engineering experience building developer-first payments and automation platforms from New York. As co-founder and CTO of Dots (YC S21), he led a product that streamlines global contractor payouts—KYC, multi-rail disbursements, and tax filing—boosting customer onboarding conversion and payee satisfaction. His background spans moonshot R&D at X (distributed simulations and ML with a patent filed), medical-device infrastructure at Athelas, and early engineering roles that blend embedded systems, backend automation, and ML-driven document classification. He’s comfortable shipping across the stack and turning complex regulatory and rail-specific payment problems into clean APIs that developers love. Notably, his career threads academic research and satellite/robotics projects into practical product engineering, reflecting a knack for translating novel research into reliable production systems.
