Top SchoolKasun Talwatta is a seasoned full-stack engineer and Field Engineer for APAC at solo.io with 13 years of experience spanning DevOps, SRE, architecture, and software development across healthcare, telecoms, and fintech. He combines deep systems-level skills in C/C++ and Java with modern cloud-native practices—microservices, AWS, and DevOps toolchains—while also shipping frontend work in Angular and React. A pragmatic problem-solver, he has led DevOps practices at SteadyPay and delivered integration projects in Health IT, bringing both consulting discipline and hands-on execution. Kasun is an open-source advocate who transitioned from developer and SRE roles into customer-facing solution architecture, translating complex technical needs into deployable systems. Based in Auckland, he pairs a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering with a hobbyist passion for electronics and robotics that often informs his systems-thinking approach. Notably, his background bridges low-level engineering and cloud-native orchestration, making him effective at both performance-sensitive and large-scale distributed systems.
