Top SchoolKat Landin is a Senior Design Technologist based in Portland, Oregon with nine years of experience shaping polished front-end experiences from pixels to production. She has progressed from front-end developer roles to senior design technologist at BrainGu, blending visual design sensibility with hands-on engineering to solve product and interaction challenges. Comfortable shipping scalable UI code and prototypes, she leverages a formal background in front-end engineering and a foundation in cultural anthropology and film production to inform user-centered design decisions. Colleagues know her for turning ambiguous requirements into elegant, usable interfaces and for bridging design and engineering teams. Outside work she draws on early media and event operations experience—an unconventional path that contributes practical empathy for customer-facing systems.
