Summary
👤
SeniorKat Ruiz is a senior software engineering manager with 13 years of experience building and scaling secure, high-performance platforms across startups and enterprise environments. Currently leading Identity & Access at OpenLoop, she combines strategic roadmap ownership with hands-on engineering to deliver enterprise-grade authentication, authorization, and SSO for high-traffic services. Previously she architected a 5TB/day low-latency log pipeline, migrated massive Kafka clusters with zero downtime, and helped found Radiant Security’s core platform and connectors ecosystem. As CTO of a leading Peruvian e-commerce startup she drove a pivot to multi-tenant SaaS and supported millions of monthly views, demonstrating a rare mix of product-minded leadership and deep systems expertise. She also teaches digital transformation and platform development at UTEC, bringing TOGAF, service design, and practical full-stack experience into the classroom. Based in Peru, Kat pairs operational rigor with a people-first ethos—believing that only great teams build great products—and is known for turning complex architectures into scalable, repeatable platforms.
