Top SchoolKeith Roe is an experienced management development consultant and former corporate leader with a 32-year career at Upjohn that progressed from sales to roles including General Manager Scandinavia and Management Development Manager for Europe. Since "retiring" in 1990 he founded KR Management Development and has spent five decades coaching leaders to improve the soft skills—communication, rapport, and audience readiness—that he believes underlie most business failures. Trained originally in physiotherapy and industrial psychology, he brings a rare blend of clinical communication, multinational business experience, and academic insight to leadership training. He has honed public speaking and interviewing skills across Europe and the U.S., currently hosting a long-running weekly interview program highlighting Greater Kalamazoo. Known for teaching the practical art of crafting the first phrase to establish readiness, he helps individuals and organizations translate technical competence into persuasive, people-centered outcomes. Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he combines hands-on coaching with decades of real-world leadership and media experience.
