Top SchoolKelson Da Costa Medeiros is a veteran software architect and DevOps specialist with over 30 years of experience modernizing public-sector systems across education, healthcare and culture in Brazil. He currently coordinates educational technology at IFRN while leading AWS, Kubernetes and GitLab CI/CD automation for Brazil’s Ministry of Culture streaming platform, combining legacy modernization (Delphi, Java/Spring, Oracle) with cloud-native design (Terraform, FastAPI, Django). His work includes nation-scale health informatics platforms (AVASUS, LUES, PNTD) that serve millions of SUS workers, and deep expertise in Moodle customization and enterprise document management. A hands-on leader, he blends full-stack development (Python, PHP, JavaScript) with infrastructure as code and database architecture to deliver mission-critical, highly available systems. Notably, his career spans from MS-DOS Clipper projects to modern container orchestration, reflecting a rare continuity of institutional knowledge that eases large migrations and long-term sustainability.
