Senior🎓
Top SchoolKelvin Lu is a full-stack software engineer with a decade of experience, specializing in Ruby on Rails and a strong backend focus honed at multiple Silicon Valley startups. He has led backend overhauls that turned Rails into primary data sources, enabled real-time bi-directional syncing with Salesforce, and delivered measurable cost and operational savings. Kelvin combines meticulous attention to code and architecture with pragmatic startup instincts—shipping fast, minimizing technical debt, and aligning engineering work to business outcomes. Beyond backend systems he’s delivered front-end work in React/TypeScript and practical integrations (GraphQL, webhooks) that improved customer visibility and reduced reschedules. A former founding engineer who built a high-adoption Chrome extension and an engineer retained through an acquisition, he brings both product empathy and steady ownership to cross-functional teams.
