Senior🎓
Top SchoolKenneth Ballenegger is a seasoned entrepreneur and engineer with 15 years of experience building and scaling product- and revenue-focused startups across mobile, games, fintech, and crypto. As Managing Partner at Oyster Ventures and former CSO & Cofounder of Republic Crypto, he blends investing with hands-on technical leadership, evaluating startups for strong founding teams and clear transactional business models. Previously he was the first hire and architect at Chartboost, where he helped design systems that handled a billion daily events and shipped key SDKs and monetization products. He co-founded FreshPay as CTO and has steered institutional product efforts at AngelList, giving him deep insight into fundraising, product-market fit, and platform economics. Based in Hong Kong, Kenneth pairs a designer’s sensibility (BFA in Graphic Design) with backend and mobile engineering chops—a mix that informs both product decisions and technical due diligence. He also engages as a board observer and advisor, favoring startups with pragmatic paths to revenue rather than theory-heavy visions.
