Top SchoolKenny Nyallau is an Associate Staff Software Engineer based in Kuching, Malaysia with 10 years of experience turning research-grade computer vision and interactive media into commercial products. He has led R&D teams and shipped real-time broadcast recognition systems and microservice architectures for clients such as LG Uplus, blending pragmatic engineering with creative approaches like synthetic dataset generation in Unity. Comfortable across embedded, AR/VR, and cloud-native stacks, he moved from 3D art and animation into applied computer vision and production software, giving him a rare cross-disciplinary perspective. An entrepreneurial freelancer and current staff engineer at X-FAB Sarawak, Kenny pairs hands-on coding with IP and product-facing delivery. Outside work he pursues interests in F1, genomics, healthcare and food security, which often inspire interdisciplinary experimentation.
