Top SchoolKenny Rachuonyo is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building scalable, cost-conscious data and web systems for startups and medium-sized companies from Nairobi. He blends Python-driven web development (Django/Flask) and JavaScript (React) with DevOps and cloud automation (AWS, Terraform, Ansible) to deliver low-latency event processing, batch feature generation, and production ML pipelines. At JUMO he engineered a scheduled feature service handling thousands of features per run and cut big-data processing costs by 10x through PySpark and AWS optimizations. He’s comfortable customizing open-source stacks end-to-end and provisioning on-demand infrastructure to keep operational costs down while maintaining high availability. A pragmatic continuous-delivery advocate, Kenny also contributes to open-source projects and pursues deep learning studies via fast.ai to bridge ML research and production engineering.
