Top SchoolKenta Katsumata is a versatile full-stack engineer with over a decade of experience designing and operating cloud-native systems and developer workflows across AWS and GCP. He combines deep hands-on skills in many languages (TypeScript, Kotlin, Rust, Scala, Go, Elixir, Ruby, Python, etc.) with strong DevOps/DevSecOps practice—Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, container multi-arch builds, SSO/OSS security automation and Datadog-driven observability. Recent work includes architecting multi-account AWS infrastructures, one-command deploy-and-rollback pipelines, PrivateLink cross-account communications, and automated security hardening via EventBridge/Step Functions and Terraform. Comfortable bridging application and infrastructure teams, he also accelerates developer productivity through tailored local Docker bases, scripting, and process improvements for code review and branching. Known for readability and maintainability of code, he pairs technical curiosity with business awareness and a knack for creative problem-solving (he even won a popular Japanese OGIRI contest), and reads English technical docs fluently.
