Senior🎓
Top SchoolKevin Kelly is an engineering manager with 11 years of experience focused on advertising and media technology, currently leading remote teams at Spotify to deliver podcast content and monetization infrastructure. He combines hands-on engineering in Ruby on Rails, React, Go, and Kubernetes with strategic planning—recently driving cloud migrations aimed at zero customer downtime. Kevin has scaled teams across backend, full-stack, and SRE domains for high-traffic platforms (including a podcast service with over half a billion monthly downloads) and emphasizes technical growth through mentorship and synchronous remote collaboration. His background spans low-level systems work (C/C++ network filtration and FPGA development) to real-time web applications, giving him a rare full-stack-to-kernel perspective. Based in Reston, VA, he is comfortable coordinating cross-organization initiatives and staying actively involved in code and architecture while managing delivery.
