Top SchoolKevin Lee is a multidisciplinary lecturer and creative technologist with 12 years of experience blending software engineering, design and teaching across academia and industry. After building production React/React Native systems and GraphQL-driven tooling at Facebook, he transitioned to creative computing roles—teaching at UAL and RCA while advising MA students and crafting hands-on curricula in creative coding, physical computing and cognitive systems. His background spans research software, data visualization and product work, from building annotation tools at Berkeley to launching three commercial apps as an independent agency. Kevin pairs rigorous technical chops (UC Berkeley, Imperial, RCA) with a design-led approach informed by cybernetics and cognitive science, making him adept at translating conceptual ideas into interactive prototypes and learning experiences. An underappreciated strength is his ability to bridge industry-scale engineering practices with studio-style experimentation, mentoring students to ship thoughtfully engineered creative work.
