Top SchoolKevin Sloan is a seasoned software engineering leader with 11 years of experience building scalable, customer-focused platforms and operational systems from the ground up. As VP of Technology at Zensurance he’s grown his remit across Engineering, IT, InfoSec, and Data while previously designing core pricing/rating engines and a production online quoting platform as the company’s first technical hire. He blends hands-on architecture (Node.js, React, serverless AWS) with delivery leadership—introducing CI/CD, automated testing and cross-functional tooling—to turn difficult problems into reliable, auditable services. An entrepreneur who built and operated an 18-unit VR arcade and its bespoke management software, he brings product instincts and systems thinking to operational challenges. Passionate about openness, mentoring, and practical security, he pairs technical depth with a background in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Toronto.
