Top SchoolKevin Van Gundy is an operator and advisor with 11 years of experience helping developer-focused companies scale from product to global operations. He served as COO and CRO at Vercel during a period of hypergrowth—helping the company raise over $300M and land enterprise customers like Uber and Airbnb—and later founded Hypermode, a developer platform acquired by Istari Digital. Kevin combines GTM, finance, HR, and operations expertise with a knack for translating engineering ambition into repeatable business models, often in front-end and edge-compute ecosystems. As an active advisor to projects such as Laravel, n8n, and Vercel, he focuses on empowering developer communities and tooling-driven business models. Based in San Francisco, he pairs an English and Economics background with a pragmatic, curiosity-led leadership style that surfaces overlooked product and go-to-market opportunities.
