Top SchoolKhandker Islam is a software engineer specializing in DevOps and backend systems with 8 years of experience building high-availability, cloud-native infrastructure on GCP and AWS. He designs and automates CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, and currently applies these skills at Zelf AI after multiple engineering roles at Optimizely. Beyond production engineering, he pursues AI and bioinformatics research—publishing in IEEE and Springer—and has applied machine learning to projects ranging from attentiveness detection for special-needs education to cancer data analysis. A BUET graduate with a strong academic record, he blends rigorous research thinking with practical system design, and brings hands-on experience across startups and product teams in Dhaka and remotely.
