Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolKit Carey is a Senior Software Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area with 11 years of experience building robust full-stack systems for startups and crypto projects. They’ve shipped production Rust services and web apps for MobileCoin, led development of block-explorer and auditor tooling, and now apply computer vision and AI to industrial safety at Voxel. Kit’s background spans frontend performance work—canvas overlays, client-side web workers, and dimensionality-reduction visualizations—to backend API and service reliability, showing a rare comfort across the stack. Early hands-on roles in CNC machining and environmental field research give them practical domain intuition for production constraints and physical systems. Known for refactoring legacy apps into modern architectures, Kit combines pragmatic engineering with a curiosity for applying ML and systems thinking to real-world problems.
