Senior🎓
Top SchoolKnut Pettersen is a seasoned web developer and entrepreneur who has run DatabaseSør AS and Matoppskrift.no since 2000, specializing in classic ASP, VBScript, SQL Server and CSS. He brings four decades of programming experience stretching back to early BASIC in the 1980s and a long history with VB/VBA, giving him deep legacy-system expertise alongside modern web skills. Knut has built practical, low-budget online solutions for nutrition, food allergen calculation and recipe information, often pioneering these services in Norway. He pairs technical work with hands-on domain knowledge as a trained cook/chef and registered journalist, which informs his health and food-focused projects. Active in patient organizations and voluntary work, he leverages empathy and real-world user needs in his designs. Known as an avid proponent of classic ASP, he reliably delivers pragmatic, maintainable web systems for small business and community needs.
