Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolKris Quigley is a backend engineer and hands-on technical leader with 12 years of experience delivering retail and ecommerce systems from Leeds, UK. He has led teams and architectures across startups and scale-ups—most recently at Parallax—bringing deep Ruby, JavaScript and full‑stack expertise to pragmatic, performance-focused solutions. As Managing Director of Affinity Digital he combines engineering craft with commercial and delivery ownership, often stepping into technical lead roles to unblock teams. Kris is drawn to exploring new paradigms and faster, simpler architectures in his spare time, which informs his preference for robust, maintainable systems over clever but brittle hacks. Outside work he recharges with family time, hiking, retreats and rhythmically demolishing virtual blocks in Beat Saber—an odd but telling hint at his love of flow and precision.
