Top SchoolKs Tan is the Technical Director and co-founder of Sim IT Sdn Bhd, a Johor-based software company that has spent the last 12+ years moving Malaysian and Singaporean SMEs from desktop accounting to real-time, cloud-native business management systems. He leads product and technical strategy for SimBiz (ERP/Accounting/Inventory/HRM/POS) and SimTrain (learning centre management), which together serve hundreds of sites and manage over 100,000 student profiles. His focus is pragmatic: reduce customers’ IT costs while increasing operational return through hosted, clustered cloud solutions tailored for industries from logistics and construction to education and retail. With an academic background in Applied Physics and a minor in Computer Science from USM, he blends analytical problem-solving with hands-on software delivery.
