Top SchoolKudzaishe Zharare is a founder and research-driven engineer with nine years of experience building secure, automated systems at the intersection of AI and finance. Currently leading Poza, he is inventing underwriting and merchant infrastructure that makes AI-agent payments auditable and insurable by turning agent credentials into commercially actionable risk signals. Previously he led security, identity, and compliance at a YC startup and co-founded a fintech identity company, bringing deep DevOps and compliance expertise to product design. His background includes engineering roles at The World Bank and research positions at MIT, reflecting a blend of rigorous research instincts and production-grade delivery. He is focused on scalable, explainable decisioning in synchronous payment flows—an unusual mix of cryptographic authority, underwriting, and merchant operations. Based in Cambridge, MA, Kudzaishe combines technical leadership with a practical appetite for solving liability and risk questions that arise when autonomous agents transact for humans.
