Senior🎓
Top SchoolKumar Malhotra is a Senior Engineer based in Boston with 10 years of experience building data platforms and analytics solutions across retail and travel domains. He specializes in Google Cloud data ecosystems—BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and BigTable—designing ETL pipelines, curated data layers and real-time streaming integrations that power reporting and self-service BI. At Wayfair he redesigned workflows to blend batch and near-real-time processing and led the foundational data modeling for merchandising cubes; he now applies that expertise at Best Buy. His background spans hands-on ML and research (patient pose and recognition systems with strong F1/MAP results) to production BI work, giving him a rare bridge between experimental ML and scalable engineering. Comfortable with Python and SQL and familiar with Spark, Java and Tableau, he emphasizes robust monitoring, CI/CD and data quality in operational pipelines. Colleagues rely on him for turning complex business questions into well-documented, production-ready data solutions.
