Top SchoolKurt Hsu is a Senior Rails Developer based in New Taipei with 9 years of software experience and about 2 years focused on Ruby on Rails, complemented by hands-on work in React, Vue, and AWS. He has a strong track record of maintaining and modernizing legacy Rails systems, refactoring complex modules for maintainability, and optimizing heavy monthly batch processing to cut runtime by around 70%. Kurt has experience across backend, frontend, and ops—from rebuilding SPAs in Vue and integrating Webpacker to managing deployments and load balancing on AWS—making him effective at end-to-end product delivery. At BitoGroup and prior companies he’s solved payment-rule edge cases for financial systems and built tooling to let non-technical users manage email and brochure content, showing a user-focused approach to engineering. Notably, he also served as an IT frontline liaison to protect team focus while resolving operational issues, blending technical depth with practical team stewardship.
