Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolKyle Montag is a Senior Data Engineer with 12 years of experience building scalable data platforms, full‑stack products, and ML tooling across startups and enterprise teams. Currently at Chainlink Labs, he brings deep expertise in MEV, blockchain, and finance, and previously led the transformation of Salsify’s Data Lake to a formally orchestrated ETL/ELT platform processing terabytes daily. He has a strong track record of shipping products from hackathon prototypes to GA—most notably Salsify Enhanced Content—and has led cross-functional engineering teams and release processes. Comfortable across the stack (Rails, TypeScript, PySpark, Dagster, DBT, AWS), Kyle mixes hands‑on development with architectural leadership and a co‑founder’s bias toward shipping. Based in Maine, he blends academic training in CS and Interactive Media with practical experience in game, web, and computer vision systems, often focusing on reproducible, inspectable pipelines that support ML in production.
