Top SchoolKyle Shevlin is a Staff Software Engineer based in Portland with 11 years of experience specializing in TypeScript, React, and frontend architecture. He has led design-system migrations, built type-safe design token systems, and created analytics and tooling that measurably improved developer velocity and UI consistency across web and mobile products. As a founder and consultant he has delivered production React/Next.js and React Native projects, run workshops, and built a custom course platform, demonstrating a blend of hands-on delivery and developer enablement. He excels at translating design and product goals into maintainable component libraries and engineering practices, and is known for teaching teams how to decouple UI from data effectively. Outside of product teams he focuses on force-multiplying others through tooling, clear communication, and educational content—so he evaluates connections and opportunities selectively.
