Top SchoolLahiru Jayakody is a Technical Lead with 10 years of experience building pragmatic, human-centered software and applied AI solutions from Sri Lanka. He has led engineering and architecture efforts across startups and research settings, most recently guiding a stealth FinTech startup and previously shaping ML tooling and product architectures at Expert Intelligence and Alta Vision Solar. Comfortable bridging research and production, Lahiru moves quickly from prototype to reliable systems and mentors teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes. He values automation—summed up by his motto “humans should not do what robots can”—and often prefers impactful engineering over polished public profiles, which explains limited visible GitHub activity despite deep private-account work. His background includes a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Moratuwa and hands-on experience across applied AI, software architecture, and technical leadership.
