Senior🎓
Top SchoolLance Fisher is a senior engineering leader with 14 years of experience building and scaling web and mobile products, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at onXmaps in Missoula, Montana. He blends hands-on engineering (strong JavaScript background) with organizational growth—hiring and scaling teams, instituting CI/CD, and leading migrations from legacy systems to modern stacks. His career spans startups to enterprise, including VP of Engineering at Submittable where he drove compliance (SOC 2/HIPAA), major infra migrations, and rapid team expansion. Lance couples product-minded technical leadership with deep domain experience in mapping and cartography delivery, and he brings an outdoorsman’s perspective—often testing tech on the trails he loves. Unobvious detail: he pairs a pure mathematics degree with early systems work in the Air Force, giving him both rigorous analytical foundations and practical, mission-critical software experience.
