Senior🎓
Top SchoolLang Sharpe is a Lead Site Security and Reliability Engineer based in Queensland, Australia with 14 years of hands-on software and operations experience. He began his career building Ruby on Rails applications and has evolved into a specialist who blends SRE, security and cloud platform work—migrating apps to private Heroku spaces, building Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS/Fargate, and shortening CI pipelines. Lang has a strong track record in resilient migration projects, secure backups to AWS S3 and GCS, Redis upgrades, and practical cost negotiations with vendors. He’s equally comfortable refactoring monoliths into multi-tenant architectures and implementing operational tooling such as incident playbooks and idempotent background job systems. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic decisions that balance uptime, security and budget, and he brings a rare combination of product-minded engineering and deep operational craft.
