Senior🎓
Top SchoolLars Thegler is a Network Automation Engineer based in Copenhagen with 22 years of experience designing and implementing software for Internet and telecommunication networks. He combines deep systems and embedded-software roots with a long track record in telco platforms, provisioning systems, and IP telephony from roles at Fibia, Telia Danmark and several early ISPs. An active FreeBSD committer and maintainer since the early 2000s, he brings open-source rigor to production automation—his motto is “Automate all the things.” Lars is comfortable spanning architecture, hands-on development and technical leadership, having led platform builds and integrations as both developer and project lead. Noteworthy is his continuity: from low-level networking and router/bridge firmware to high-level orchestration, he routinely translates legacy operational complexity into repeatable automated systems. Practical, quietly inventive, he excels at turning proof-of-concept prototypes into resilient telco-grade deployments.
