Top SchoolLauri Hynynen is a Helsinki-based startup operator, founder and engineering leader with 13 years of experience building products, teams and businesses from early prototypes to scaled platforms. He combines hands-on engineering—ranging from front-end work like improving an AngularJS payments module—to executive product and CTO roles where he set strategy, hired teams and drove data and analytics initiatives. Lauri co-founded multiple startups (one acquired) and raised pre-seed funding for an AI briefing product that was later acquihired, giving him a pragmatic mix of fundraising, product-market fit and exit experience. Currently on sabbatical, he consults early-stage teams while exploring new ideas, bringing a rare blend of tactical coding chops and long-term strategic thinking. Notably, he’s comfortable switching between detailed UI fixes and high-level platform vision, making him effective across the stack and lifecycle of startup growth.
