Top SchoolLea Tortay is a Senior UX Engineer based in Paris with nine years of experience crafting thoughtful, accessible front-end experiences using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Currently at Fictive Kin, she focuses on simple yet powerful implementation and shares practical learnings through articles and her @fictivekin presence. Her background spans agency and product work— from WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify builds to Eleventy and bespoke front-end systems—bringing both design sensibility from art school and robust engineering practices. Comfortable owning the full UI workflow, she pairs pixel-level craft with performance, SEO and conversion improvements developed over large e-commerce and editorial projects. An independent spirit who has run freelance engagements, she’s as adept at technical decision-making and process improvements as she is at hands-on integration and maintenance.
