Senior🎓
Top SchoolLeandro Da Silva is an experienced engineering leader and backend specialist with 11 years building distributed systems, currently focused on Elixir/BEAM and payments infrastructure. He has progressed from hands-on engineering to team leadership—shaping architecture, developer workflows and hiring—at companies like Marley Spoon, HUUB and Loggi. Leandro combines pragmatic delivery (improving cycle time, performance and observability) with product-aligned engineering, often bridging legacy platforms (Rails, Django) and modern microservices (Kafka, Broadway). He’s known for introducing practical engineering practices—Design Docs, API specs, CI pipelines and error monitoring—that reduce technical debt and speed delivery. Based in Porto, Portugal, he brings a pattern-oriented approach to reliability and testing, and a track record of making complex integrations feel routine.
