Top SchoolLeon Leibmann is a software engineer in Seattle with 11 years of experience building privacy- and community-centered systems that bridge computational social science and production infrastructure. He has researched moderator-community dynamics at the Paul G. Allen School—analyzing data from over 10,000 Reddit communities—and built data-acquisition tools and visualizations to inform policy and design. Leon combines hands-on engineering across security-focused tooling and scheduling/automation (including a linear-programming scheduler that cut admin time 80%) with practical program management from roles at UW. He’s motivated by designing business-aligned platforms that preserve social dynamics and individual privacy, and he brings a field-first mindset informed by teaching, coaching, and community building. Outside of tech he’s an avid music explorer and seeks challenges that push technical and social boundaries.
