Senior🎓
Top SchoolLeonardo Do Nascimento is a Fullstack Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience building scalable web applications and leading migrations to modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks. He specializes in Node.js, Express, NestJS, React and Next.js, and pairs that with strong AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and automated testing practices. He has driven measurable impact—cutting UI development time and improving performance by adopting Next.js, TypeScript, Chakra UI and Tailwind, and increasing team efficiency by over 60%. At Hand Talk he designed a decoupled JS SDK that translates text to LIBRAS and ASL animations via Three.js and an AI-backed backend with Firestore caching to deliver fast, reusable sign-language services. Comfortable moving between product-facing features and low-level SDK/distribution concerns, he also documents his thinking on a technical blog and shares projects on GitHub. Fluent in Portuguese and advanced in English, he thrives on solving meaningful problems and shipping reliable, testable systems.
