Leszek Sliwko
Summary
👤
SeniorLeszek Sliwko is a Team Lead and architect with over a decade of hands-on experience building Scala/Java systems and leading cloud-native deployments on Kubernetes and Docker. He combines practical delivery in high-stakes sectors—UK Government, investment banking, telecoms—with research-grade expertise, holding a Ph.D. for an AI-driven load balancer for distributed cloud systems. Leszek has led cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement on projects involving the UN, IOM and UK Cabinet Office, and has built production-grade financial systems such as robo-advisers and real-time derivatives pricing engines. Equally comfortable in code and architecture, he founded a startup (Meta-Analyzer) accepted into AWS Activate and routinely speaks at international conferences on JVM, HPC and machine-learning topics. His background reveals a rare mix of operational leadership, high-performance computing curiosity and proven delivery in regulated, mission-critical environments.
