Senior🎓
Top SchoolLiam Kerr is a Mechatronics Engineer with 13 years of hands-on experience building robotics and dynamic systems, currently deploying integrated hardware‑software solutions for antibody discovery at AbCellera. He blends rigorous applied mathematics and dynamics simulation—honed through a 4.0 MSc at McGill and leadership roles on Ryerson Formula Racing—with practical skills in MATLAB, Simulink, SolidWorks and manufacturing. His background spans microfluidics research that led to co-authored publications, engineering consulting for COVID-19 diagnostics commercialization, and vehicle dynamics development that combined sensor-driven tuning with custom analysis tools. A CSME Gold Medalist and consistently top-performing student, he pairs academic excellence with a track record of translating models into validated hardware. Based in Vancouver, he brings a systems-level perspective to mechatronic productization, with a particular interest in mathematical modelling and dynamics that inform robust, testable designs.
