Top SchoolLiberty Ekpoto is a Lead Engineer based in Lagos with nine years of experience building full-stack, cloud-ready applications across Node.js, Laravel, React, and mobile frameworks like Flutter and React Native. She combines hands-on engineering with architecture and DevOps experience, having led engineering and cloud initiatives at startups including Gamr (Techstars '23) and Benmore Technologies. Liberty is noted for creative, out-of-the-box problem solving and a strong focus on secure, automated APIs and data-driven backends across Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB and serverless databases. A self-directed learner and mentor, she pairs advanced OOP and process automation skills with a designer’s eye (Figma/Sketch) to deliver polished, production-grade products. Outside work she’s an avid gamer and racer, and her “OCD for clean code” often translates into surprisingly elegant, maintainable architectures.
