Top SchoolLisa Gumerman is a results-driven engineering leader and founder with nine years of experience building and scaling customer-facing SaaS and payments systems, currently serving as Director of Engineering, Core at HealthSherpa. She combines hands-on full-stack engineering (cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Java, TypeScript) with product ownership—driving 8x growth in key products, launching new lines like Non-Qualified Dental, and improving team delivery metrics dramatically. As founder of Sunshower.io she designed UX-driven cloud tooling and proprietary algorithms to simplify multi-cloud deployments and cost optimization, bringing entrepreneurial rigor to platform problems. Known for pragmatic technical ownership across integrations, whitelabels, and carrier APIs, she pairs systems-level thinking with a focus on improving cycle time and team velocity. Based in Fort Collins, CO, she prioritizes practical engineering improvements over flashy trends and prefers direct, impact-oriented collaboration.
