Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolLisa Pettyjohn is an accomplished technical writer with over a decade of experience who currently authors OpenShift documentation at Red Hat using docs-as-code workflows (AsciiDoc, VS Code, GitHub). She has a strong track record of leading and single-handedly maintaining large documentation sets—reducing and restructuring 1,000+ page suites and managing 5,500+ page command-line reference libraries in fast-paced networking environments. Skilled in XML/DITA (oXygen) and traditional tools (FrameMaker/Word), she combines hands-on product testing and developer collaboration to turn complex technical material into audience-targeted content. A proven people leader and process driver, she has hired and mentored award-winning teams, introduced documentation tooling and review practices, and championed transitions to structured authoring. Collected multiple STC awards and peer recognitions, she pairs an electrical engineering background with deep practical experience in networking and SDN products—often learning and documenting features by configuring and running lab hardware herself.
