Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolLorenzo Zaccagnini is a Software Architect with nine years of experience building distributed systems, cryptographic solutions, authorization platforms, and secure web and blockchain applications. He blends deep hands-on development—from a P2P client at 14 to preference for Rust and Zig—with a rigorous practice in smart contract and legacy-system audits that have attracted national and international media attention. As a founder of Devoleum and former blockchain mentor at Udacity, he pairs product-level stewardship with open-source and educational contributions, including award-winning work on geotracking and supply-chain transparency. Lorenzo’s unusual dual background in psychology and crypto forensics informs his approach to threat modeling and human-centered security design. He actively explores forgotten infrastructures—COBOL, RPG, ADA, PL/I—to uncover hidden vulnerabilities that still power economies. Based in Lombardy, Italy, he currently leads architecture at Dectar, focusing on resilient, auditable systems across microservices and decentralized stacks.
