Top SchoolLuc Tribolet is a Staff Software Engineer with 14 years of experience designing high-scale, reliable distributed systems, currently shaping marketplace and buyer-facing architecture at Shopify. He specializes in technical steering across multi-team initiatives—turning ambiguous challenges like scaling a 230M+ product catalog into mission-critical infrastructure that delivered a $110M incremental GMV trajectory. Luc has a pragmatic track record of safe, high-velocity migrations and platform improvements (e.g., zero-downtime cart and database cutovers) and codifies patterns now used as team standards. He also pioneers AI-augmented engineering workflows and has published internal systems design guides to raise organization-wide fluency. Based in Courtenay, BC, he pairs deep performance and reliability expertise with a bias for measurable business impact and operationally safe delivery.
