Top SchoolLucas Charpentier is an R&D engineer with nine years of experience focused on knowledge representation, accessibility, and the intersection of information technologies with the arts. Currently at XWiki he has driven WCAG compliance improvements for an open-source enterprise wiki, bringing practical accessibility engineering from intern projects to production responsibility. Trained as an engineer at IMT Atlantique with study time at Keio University and a background in theoretical physics, he pairs rigorous analytical thinking with hands-on hardware and visual projects—FPGA contour detection and GIMP-based visual design among them. Lucas blends research-minded exploration of NLP and tagging tools with a creative urge to make technical systems serve sensitive, artistic communication.
