Top SchoolLucas Czekaj is a founder and seasoned software leader with 13 years of experience building production-grade systems that span backend architecture, integrations, and product delivery. Based in Las Vegas, he currently leads Peppermint Engineering, turning food purchase data into AI-driven insights to power personalized nutrition for modern wellness platforms. Previously he drove high-impact user-facing systems at Instacart—designing Fresh Funds for digital health stipends, revamping transactional notifications, and migrating services to GraphQL—after a decade of enterprise software and consulting roles including engineering leadership at Guidewire and Deloitte. He combines hands-on engineering with product sensibility and investor perspective through Limelit Ventures, where he backs data and immersive learning startups. Lucas’s background in IT econometrics and management (Harvard and multiple postgraduate programs) underpins his ability to translate complex data and business rules into elegant, scalable solutions. A not-obvious strength: he repeatedly moves legacy, multi-stakeholder systems into modern, API-first architectures that unlock new product partnerships and revenue streams.
