Senior🎓
Top SchoolLucas Duarte is a senior software developer and founder with nearly two decades of programming roots and nine years of focused professional experience delivering backend and mobile systems across Portugal and remote teams. He blends hands-on work in Node.js, Python, Java, Kotlin and C# with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Docker) to build accessibility-focused products, internal automations, and client-facing apps. As founder of KodAuti A11y Tech he shipped an accessibility-minded task manager and institutional sites, while at companies like Thoughtworks and Pagar.me he drove microservices, security improvements, and observability efforts. He often operates at the intersection of product and engineering—maintaining automations, Slack integrations and payment integrations as easily as designing mobile experiences in Flutter and Jetpack Compose. Colleagues rely on him for technical reinforcement, code reviews and pragmatic architectural decisions across the stack. A self-described slow-but-curious tinkerer (his GitHub quip about a length function hints at a dry sense of humor), he favours practical, testable solutions that scale.
