Senior🎓
Top SchoolLucas Estienne is a seasoned engineering leader with 10+ years building cloud-native infrastructure, data platforms, and high-performing teams across startups and research organizations. Currently Senior Manager for MLOps at DataRobot, he blends hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability with a track record of driving governance, monitoring and deploy practices that reduce cost and incident MTTI. He has repeatedly led platform consolidations, SaaS transitions and SOC2/CIS compliance programs—delivering measurable outcomes like multi-tenant migrations, 30% CI cost savings, and $45k/month FinOps recoveries. Known for cultivating retention and internal career ladders, Lucas pairs people-focused management with deep technical stewardship, from Airflow-powered data systems to enterprise incident programs. He also brings less obvious strengths in cross-functional change management—building RACI frameworks and on-call cultures that accelerated product delivery and developer velocity.
