Top SchoolLucas Schulze is a hands-on senior software engineer and engineering leader with five years of experience building cloud-native, event-driven systems for healthcare at PatientStudio and Itiliti Health. He architects resilient, low-latency EMR and practice-management platforms using serverless patterns (Lambda, AppSync, SQS/Step Functions), Aurora/DynamoDB, and TypeScript, while driving HIPAA-aligned security, observability, and reliable delivery. As Head of Engineering he scaled teams and operational practices—CI/CD, SLOs, canaries, and incident playbooks—turning ambiguous clinical workflows into measurable, automated outcomes. He has a practical knack for translating high-throughput data migrations and complex clinical rules into idempotent, autonomous pipelines that preserve human oversight where safety matters. Now focused on Agentic AI orchestration, he combines cloud-native engineering with state-machine patterns to build autonomous workflows that reduce clinician toil and improve outcomes. Based in Plano, TX, he pairs a chemical engineering background and experimental rigor with a proven track record shipping production healthcare software.
