Top SchoolLucy Cheesman is an experienced communications professional, editor and writer with nine years’ experience helping charities and creative organisations shape clear, compassionate messages. As Communications and Engagement Officer at Action for ME she oversees a membership magazine end-to-end, moderates supportive online communities, and coordinates volunteer contributors—bridging editorial craft with service-driven stakeholder work. She also runs a freelance editing and writing practice and sustains an active arts practice in mixed-media textile and collage, bringing a layered, visual sensibility to storytelling. Trained in professional proofreading and with a background in theology and English, she specialises in content that supports social justice, wellbeing and community causes. An unusual blend of live-coding interest (TidalCycles) and tactile art-making hints at a playful, cross-disciplinary approach to creativity and communication.
