👤
SeniorLuis Armendariz is a pragmatic software engineer with 18 years of experience building user-centered web and mobile products in startup environments across the Greater Seattle Area. He blends UX-led design thinking with hands-on front-end and React Native engineering, having modernized complex interfaces, created reusable component libraries, and shipped data visualization and performance monitoring features. Luis excels at translating ambiguous client needs into wireframes and production code, optimizing flows (sometimes reducing taps or onboarding time) and improving developer workflows through repo restructuring and CI automation. Comfortable across the stack, he has applied GraphQL, TypeScript, Angular, and React while contributing to open-source projects and rapid prototyping efforts. His background in tutoring and lab work reveals strong communication and meticulousness, and his Github motto 初心者の心 ("beginner's mind") underscores a continual curiosity that drives his iterative design approach.
