Top SchoolLuis Bizarro is a creative technologist and Member of Technical Staff with 11+ years building high-performance real-time 3D experiences using WebGL, shaders, TypeScript and plain JavaScript. As founder of Bizarro and former senior engineer at Apple and Airbnb, he favors bespoke, framework-free solutions that scale from marketing landing pages to interactive installations and games. His work has powered major product launches and campaigns (iPhone, Vision Pro, Airbnb global launches) and earned multiple Webbys, Awwwards, FWAs and industry distinctions like Awwwards Independent of the Year. He routinely architected custom pipelines and tools for 3D artists, improving performance to render experiences in under a second and materially increasing engagement. Equally at home leading cross-functional teams or teaching—his Awwwards course reached 5,000+ students—he combines product-minded engineering with an artist’s attention to craft. Based in Norwalk, CT, he partners with top brands and studios to turn experimental graphics into reliable, production-grade web experiences.
